Hi, I have been a therapist for over 20 years and it’s a privilege to do this job.
In my personal life I try to follow the teachings of Chinese Medicine and live a life of balance. This includes a combination of good food, regular exercise, and lots of laughter but like most people, some days are better than others!
My Journey So Far
2000 -2002
Studied Complimentary Therapies (Massage, Reflexology, Nutrition, Aromatherapy)
2002-2006
I worked in health spas and studied sports injuries
2005 – present
I moved back home to Wexford and set up Jane Carroll Therapies, treating sports injuries.
2008 – 2015
Part-time lecturing in at The Institute of Massage & Sports Therapy, Limerick.
2013 – 2016
Three years of study of Acupuncture and clinical Western medicine, under the excellent tutelage of Dr. Vincent Carroll.
2016
Internship in the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine, Hanoi, Vietnam, working in various departments including oncology, musculoskeletal and gynaecology.
2017 – 2018
1500+ hrs online study of Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory at the Beijing Mebo Training Centre, China
2017 – Present
Guest lecturer at Lansdowne College of Acupuncture, Dublin
2019 -2021
3 years study of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine at Newcastle college Dublin and Phoenix Medical UK, under the renowned Professor Chen Zanyu, and Dr YouJun Wang
